• RODNEY JUSTO: Vocals and guitar

  
  The singer 1,000 years ago for a well known band from the Tampa Bay Area called Rodney and the Mystics, till he abandoned his bandmates to join Roy Orbison, who‘s band was called The Candymen and would ultimately leave Roy to seek fame on their own. Well, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. After leaving The Candymen, he came home to Tampa before moving to Atlanta to join three other members of The Candymen to become the lead singer for what was to be, the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Then it was on to New York to work as a studio musician singing on jingles and as a background vocalist, as well as being band leader for B.J. Thomas, as well as a stint as the singer for legendary Rock, and Blues guitarist Roy Buchanan. Finally, as the singer, producer and writer for the well known Southern Rock group BeaverTeeth, until retirement, and a job in the “real world” as sales manager for Southern Wine and Spirits, the worlds largest alcoholic beverage distributor.

• ROBIN SIBUCAO: Guitars, harmonica and vocals

  
  Robin started playing professionally within the Tampa music scene as a VERY young kid, with his own bands: The Jesters IV (seen on WFLA's TV show, High Time), Southern Comfort and The Toy Shoppe. To pursue his music dreams, Robin left Tampa right out of high school to join and tour with a Los Angeles based band with west coast fame, known as The Shuffle. This power-rock band recorded and toured throughout the west coast before he returned home to Tampa Bay to form the band KoKo. They developed a strong following around Florida and are renown as the group with Terry Bolea on bass. (Terry, of course, is now better known as Hulk Hogan.) Robin followed up with his extremely popular Toulouse band, which was a favorite around Tampa Bay  for years. Robin became a guitar clinician for many well know guitar manufacturers and has been a well respected "hired gun" rock guitarist for years. His music and sound system expertise transplanted him to New England were he worked with the behemoth BOSE Corporation. Robin also launched the Seattle based music company, PLAYNETWORK, best known for programming music for all of the thousands of Starbucks Coffee locations worldwide. Robin's musical background and guitar power has been recognized for decades as one of the most creative rock guitarists in the music business.

• ROY GARCIA: Guitar and vocals

  
  Roy, at 14 was in a Tampa band called The Lovelighters. When he was almost 16 he was asked to join an established band in Tampa called Rodney and the Mystics, where he stayed till Rodney decided to leave the band to go to work with Roy Orbison (selfish @%&*@% that he is). When his father, a machinist mechanic, accepted a job as head machinist in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the Hav-a-Tampa cigar company, Roy of course, went along. It didn’t take long before Roy became (at an extremely young age) the music director for many Puerto Rican Television variety shows, as well as a performing guitarist for some of the most renown recording artists in Puerto Rico. Returning to Tampa, Roy worked in a few Top 40 bands and was a well known jazz guitarist in the West Coast of Florida, before he couldn’t take it any more, and had to make a decision. Either quit, playing or kill myself... he quit, despite his acquaintances telling him that killing himself would have been better.

• RODGER STEPHAN: Drums and vocals

  
  Please note the “d” in Rodger (Pronounced Roger Steven, he’s VERY touchy about that). Playing Sax, until seeing Ringo and The Beatles on television and undergoing a musical epiphany, Rodger worked for years in some of Tampa’s top bands in the 60’s and 70’s like Sage, Blues Cycle, and The Mod Squad. He also played with The Marty Balin Band (Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship & solo) for over a decade. As the area’s premier studio drummer throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, he played on hundreds of local demos and jingles as well as dozens of albums. Played on the Channel 8 News music package which aired for most of the ‘90s. Being a drummer in “the old days”, meant that you had to be able to play many styles of drums, if you wanted to play, while the other guys were staying home. So whether it’s Dino Danelli, Mitch Mitchell, Ringo, Earl Palmer, Tito Puente, New Orleans style “second line” or any other style of drumming Rodger always comes through. AND he sings too!

• DANNY GEORGE: Bass and vocals

  
  Seasoned bass player Danny “Deuce” George is originally from Muncie, Indiana. Deuce moved to Los Angeles in his teens and it was there that he recorded his first demo in the late 60’s.  He formed a popular regional band named Madstone and started playing bass. In the mid 70’s Deuce moved to Florida and joined one of Tampa Bay’s top club bands, Azule. He also played with Avalanche and subsequently signed with Boble, an independent record label. They had two hits that were on the billboard charts, Mr Boogieman, and Hot Ice. With Miami, a touring group that played with War and The Commodores, Deuce had two hits, Kill That Roach and Disco Weekend.  He formed Rhapsody in Tampa in 1980. Deuce stayed involved with the music scene, composing and doing session work, until he joined Coo Coo Ca Choo in early 2008. Deuce is the band’s most recent member and is the only band member who’s not a Tampa native. He’s quite proud that he’s also the only band member with a first name that does not start with the crazy letter “R”. When he's not making people feel good with great music, Deuce may be found making people look good at Daniel George Salon, a premier hair salon in Carrollwood, or chilling on his boat in the gulf waters near Tampa Bay.
